Since hair products are hygiene items, exchanges or returns of used products are not possible. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee success. However, we are happy to answer any questions you may have. 😊

If you wish to return one of our products, please return the complete product in the original package (or a similar shipping box) within 14 days to the following company address . Please inform us of your return with a clear explanation by email to support@lottacurls.com.

For what hair length?

Our curling ribbons are suitable for all hair types from shoulder to chest length and for fine to thick hair.

How long to wear?

On average, we recommend leaving Lotta in your hair for at least 4 hours . You will get the best curling results if you use it overnight! 💤 Basically, the longer you wear the curling band, the better the result 😉

Application difficult?

No ! 😊 With a little practice, using Lotta Curls will be child's play. On average, it takes 3-4 minutes to curl and less than 2 minutes to remove.

DIRECTIONS

Use wet or dry?

We recommend using it on dry or slightly damp hair.

But be careful! If your hair is too wet, it may not dry completely overnight, and you won't achieve the desired curling result.

Do curls hold on straight hair?

YES! For straight hair, we recommend the Original Velvet Curling Ribbon. It's especially important to wear the ribbon overnight. We also recommend using styling mousse to keep the curls in place all day. 💪

Difference in materials?

The Original Velvet Curling Band is ideal for straight hair types , while the Satin Cotton Band is ideal for naturally wavy hair .

Is it vegan?

YES! All our curling ribbons are 100% vegan.

Unlike wool or silk, no animal materials are used in our materials.

How to wash curling ribbon?

Since our curling ribbons are hand-sewn, we recommend hand- washing. 🧴

Where is it produced?

We're very proud that we produce our curling ribbons in Europe under fair conditions. Our tailor shop, like us, is run by women. 🇪🇺

Difference: Adults vs. Children

The bands differ in terms of length and width.
We have adapted the children's curling band specifically to children's heads and it is therefore shorter and narrower.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Package does not move

Sometimes the tracking link isn't updated immediately, even though the package is already on its way. It may be in a distribution center, or there may be short-term delays in the delivery network.

Don't worry, we handed your package over to the delivery service on time. It's on its way to you.

Package was announced electronically

This means the delivery service has received the shipping information and your package has been registered. However, sometimes it is scanned later at the logistics center, which is why the status doesn't change immediately.

Don't worry, your package is on its way and the status should update soon.

If nothing happens after 5 business days, please contact us - we'll take care of it!

Package allegedly delivered

Please first ask your neighbors, roommates, or colleagues if someone has accepted the package for you.

Sometimes the delivery service prematurely sets the status to "delivered" even though the package isn't due to arrive until later. In this case, please wait 24 hours.

If it's still not there after that, contact us - we'll take care of it.

ORDER & RETURN

Color deviation – why?

Our products are handmade and unique, so slight variations in color and texture may occasionally occur. Screen settings and lighting conditions can also affect color perception.

Received wrong product

If you received the wrong item, please contact us directly – we'll take care of it immediately! Please send us the following information:

  • Order number
  • Product you did not receive
  • Product you received instead
  • Photo of the product you received

As soon as we have the information from you, we will take care of it as quickly as possible and find a solution for you.

Received a defective product

We are truly sorry if your product arrived damaged; this should never happen!
To resolve the issue as quickly as possible, we require a photo of the damaged product. Once we receive the image, we will take care of it immediately.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Change/cancel order

Once you've placed your order, unfortunately, we can't make any changes to it. This includes:

  • Changes to the article (e.g. color)
  • Adjustment of the delivery or billing address
  • Adding more items to your order
  • Subsequent application of discount codes
An article is missing

If something is missing from your order, please contact us directly – we'll take care of it immediately! Please send us the following information:

  • Your order number
  • Name of the product you did not receive

As soon as we have the information from you, we will take care of it as quickly as possible and find a solution for you.

Where is the returnable

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer return labels due to our limited resources as a startup. Therefore, you will need to organize your own return shipping.

❗️ Since this is a hair product, we will inspect the condition of the returned item for hygiene reasons. If the band is in perfect condition, we will immediately refund you in full.

Return policy

You have the right to cancel your order and return the product within 14 days of receiving the goods. However, since this is a hygiene product, it must be unused, unworn, and in perfect condition.
