October is International Breast Cancer Awareness Month – a time to raise awareness of breast cancer and support those affected. For us at Lotta Curls, it was immediately clear: we wanted to contribute to this important cause. That's why we launched a very special campaign in October.

For every order we received in October, we donated a portion of the proceeds to Pink Ribbon - An initiative of the Austrian Cancer Aid, which raises awareness of breast cancer and encourages early detection through education, fundraising, and support for those affected. Together with you, our wonderful community, we were able to raise a significant sum – a sum that will go directly to research projects that bring hope and progress for those affected.

Recently, the moment finally arrived: We had the honor of officially presenting the collected sum of €2,000 in the form of a check. It was an incredibly moving moment that once again showed us how powerful a collective effort can be. A huge thank you goes to you, our community, who supported this campaign through your orders. You are the reason we were able to make this possible.

Why this topic is so important to us

As a female-founded startup, the health and well-being of women is especially important to us. Breast cancer is a disease that affects many of us directly or indirectly. The work that organizations and researchers are doing to develop better treatment options and preventative approaches is tireless – and we wanted to show our support with this donation.

Achieving more together

This initiative has once again demonstrated the immense power of our community. Together, we can make a real difference. And that's precisely what motivates us to continue such projects in the future.
